Marin offer 3 superb full sus formats:
- The Quad XC-120 – super efficient, lightweight 5" travel cross-country bikes.
The quad-link rear suspension system has been moved to in front of the seat tube for extra smooth action, lighter weight, and less muck all over the moving parts.
Put together with a newly hydroformed main frame that increases strength, stiffness and standover while reducing weight, this all adds up to a truly amazing off road experience.
- The Quad Trail-150 – now have travel fixed at 6" and variable geometry, so that the bike can be adapted to different levels of terrain.
They look the same but they work even better.
- The Quad XLT – Marin’s big and bouncy beast.
With 7" of travel and a frame that is still light enough to pedal back up the hill again, this is the bike for ripping down the wackiest trails.

Trek offer 5 groups of full suspension bikes
- Top Fuel – 100 mm or 4" of travel and the lightest carbon fibre frames make for speed, speed, speed. Full on race bikes.
- Fuel EX – comes with 120mm or 5” of travel to takes the bumps and roughness of British off roading. Now they are using Fox Shocks and an improved geometry at the rear, with a stiffer, lighter back end.
These bikes have been getting rave reviews from "those who know"
