If you're flying with your bike you'll almost certainly need a spanner with which to remove your pedals, otherwise here is a list of essential tools that we recommend travelling with
- pump
- Spare inner tube
- 3 tyre levers
- Puncture kit
- 6" adjustable spanner (or a 4" adjustable if you have quick release wheels)*
- Chain link rivet extractor tool*
- Set of allen keys appropriate to your bike*
- screwdriver*
- A few zip ties (6")
- Gear cable and rear brake cable
- A couple of nuts, bolts and washers (M5x16)
- A piece of rag and a few wet wipes
* = The Topeak Alien Multitool could be taken in place of these tools.
